Bottlebrush

Callistemon viminalis ‘LJ1’ ‘Better John’

A dwarf shrub with striking silver toned leaves that mature into blue-green toned foliage, and the popular Bottlebrush red flowers appearing in spring, summer and sometimes autumn, this native works well as a low border shrub or to complement larger natives in the garden. Attractive to birds with some minor pruning needed in spring, it stays at a compact height and looks great when shaped into a dense hedge.
