Mudgee Wattle

Acacia spectabilis

Low maintenance and fast growing, the Mudgee Wattle is a striking feature tree in the garden all year round. While bright pops of buds appear in winter to bloom into beautiful bright yellow flowers in the spring, it’s silvery grey trunk and grey green foliage makes it an attractive option in any season. With regular pruning after it flowers, this wattle is easy to shape into a large shrub or small, shady tree. Growing quickly at up to a metre a year with the right care, this gorgeous native is both frost and drought tolerant.
