Orthrosanthus multiflorus

This grass-like clumping variety is ideal for informal group plantings amongst other shrubs in your landscapes, borders and raised beds or mass plantings as a ground cover under trees and on banks. The ornamental flowers bring a rare ‘true blue’ into your colour scheme – and while the pretty starry blue flowers only last a single day, they bloom so profusely the plant is rarely out of flower during Spring and early Summer. It prefers a semi shaded position, but can tolerate full sun. Mulch to keep soil moist. Butterfly attracting.
