Bottlebrush

Expect the entire plant to be covered in masses of rustic red bottle brush flowers throughout Spring as this Callistemon lives up to its name sake of Flora Burst. Unlike other prolific flowering bottle brushes, the Flora Burst plant is relatively self-cleaning, leaving far less seed pods on the plant after flowering. It may also provide a repeat flush of bottle brush blooms in Autumn in warmer parts of Australia. Pruning is recommended to keep this a dense and bushy shrub, great for colourful hedging effects.
