Eucalyptus rhodantha – rose mallee

Eucalyptus Rhodantha

‘Rose Mallee’ is a small evergreen tree, spreading in nature, with beautiful silvery leaves that help show off its large reddish pink flowers during the winter to spring months. Complemented by smooth grey-brown bark and light grey branches, it makes an interesting feature plant, bringing texture and colour to gardens in warm and Mediterranean zones.

A good choice for erosion control, honey production and bird nesting, it also attracts bees, birds and butterflies. Be sure to plant in well-drained soil and a sunny position. Drought resistant and tolerant of light frost.
