Jug Flower

Adenanthos cuneatus

With attractive bronze-red new growth in the summer and dainty, red flowers peaking in spring but blooming for most of the year, the Jug Flower attracts nectar feeding birds. Fantastic for coastal gardens with its preference for sandy soil, this native shrub is hardy and loves a sunny spot in the garden or can be planted in pots to bring year-round colour to courtyards and balconies. Once established, the Jug Flower can handle high temperatures for short periods and has a low frost tolerance
