Suitable for a range of applications, the Lighthouse is useful for screening, informal hedges, providing textural contrast in gardens and looks great in pots thanks to its tall, pillar-like shape. The silvery, soft foliage is attractive in all seasons and the small red flowers that appear in spring are popular with nectar eating birds. It can grow to a manageable height of 1.5 metres and benefits from pruning after flowering to encourage strong and compact growth.
