Banksia

An elegant and evergreen native shrub with a variety of uses, this Banksia can be used in mass plantings, general landscaping, potted displays, rockeries, borders or even as a feature plant. Large candle-like, yellow flowers appear in spring and autumn adding a pop of colour to the garden and attract native birds. Leaves are lush and green with unusual, serrated style foliage and once established, is drought and frost tolerant, has minimal watering requirements in a moderate climate with fertilizer only needed 2-3 times a year to promote healthy growth.
