Dampiers Rose

Diplolaena dampieri

Native to south-west Western Australia, this dense medium sized shrub is wildly intriguing for its attractive foliage and unique flowers. The long aromatic green leaves feature milky-white hairs on the undersides, the stems and the buds with sublime orange to red bell-shaped flowers appearing in late winter through to spring.

Create impact in your courtyard and use as a feature plant in large pots, or use this variety for hedging and screening effects in larger gardens. Best suited to full sun in sandy, well-draining soil. Tolerant to frost, drought and salty climates. Also bird attracting!
